The Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) is pleased to issue the English language translation of the Shari’ah Standard No. (60): Waqf.

Please note that the standard is available free of charge for your information and reference and can be accessed from AAOIFI website as well.

On behalf of AAOIFI, we would like thank the honourable chairman and the distinguished members of the AAOIFI Shari’ah Board, the drafting committee, the translation committee, as well as, translators for their continuous support. May Allah SWT accept their efforts and reward everyone with the best.

We would like to highlight that while translating Shari’ah terminologies, an added effort was made to select the most appropriate technical and legal terminologies.
