The public hearings, as one of the mandatory steps in standards development at AAOIFI, are an opportunity to interact with and benefit from the knowledge, experience, and wisdom of highly professional individuals—like yourself— on proposed new standards. We have already publicly released the exposure draft on the above referenced standard and are now organizing this public hearing event in order to gather industry viewpoints, comments, suggestions, and feedback, which may be incorporated in the exposure after the respective board’s approval.
