Drawing High-Profile International Attendance AAOIFI-World International Conference, Edition 12, Convenes Next Sunday Under the Theme: “Towards Quantitative Growth and Standardization of Islamic Finance”

Drawing high-profile attendance from across the globe, the AAOIFI-World Bank Annual Conference, 12th edition, under the title: “Towards Quantitative Growth and Standardization of Islamic Finance” will be held on Sunday and Monday 5-6 November 2017 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in partnership with the World Bank, and under auspices of the Central Bank of Bahrain. The conference will feature a distinguished host of speakers including 30 experts hailing from 15 countries, and the official opening ceremony will commence at 9:00 a.m. Sunday 5 November 2017.

In recognition and appreciation of the major role played by Saudi Arabia with regards to the Islamic finance industry, the conference will have the honor to host a prominent guest of honor and keynote speaker, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdulkarim Alkholifey, Governor, Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (the central bank of Saudi Arabia).

As part of its initiative to hold, at its international conferences, face-to-face sessions with Islamic finance pioneers who have left their remarkable fingerprints over the course of its procession, aiming to honor their key figures and chronicle, evaluate and prospect the industry through their own eyes and perspectives, AAOIFI will have H.E. Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Ali Al Madani (honorary president of IDB Group) as a distinguished guest of the pioneers session, through open dialogue, and the floor will be open for the audience to interact.
